This Policy applies to business owners, proprietors, partners, directors, and authorized representatives who engage eUdyam Sewa for B2B consultancy services, visitors to our website www.eudyamsewa.com, and anyone who contacts us via phone, email, or online forms. eUdyam Sewa operates exclusively in a B2B capacity, and all data collected is for the purpose of providing professional consultancy to business entities.

3. What Information We Collect

To deliver our services, we collect business and identity information such as business name and type, name of proprietor/partner(s)/director(s), Aadhaar number, PAN, GSTIN (if applicable), business address, bank account details (where required), mobile number, email address, NIC/industry code, and investment and turnover details. We also automatically collect website usage data (IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, cookies), communication data when you contact us, and limited payment confirmation details. We do NOT collect or store your full card number, CVV, or net banking credentials — payments are processed through secure third-party gateways.

4. Sensitive Personal Data and Information (SPDI)

Information such as Aadhaar numbers, PAN, and financial data qualifies as Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI) under the IT (SPDI) Rules, 2011. SPDI is collected only with your explicit consent and solely to process your Udyam application, is not stored beyond the period required to deliver the service, is not disclosed to third parties except as required by law or service fulfilment, and is accessible only to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. We handle Aadhaar data strictly in compliance with the Aadhaar Act, 2016 and UIDAI guidelines, and do not store Aadhaar numbers beyond the period necessary for your service request.

5. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly for service delivery (processing and submitting your Udyam application, verifying details, communicating status updates, delivering your certificate), client communication (responding to queries, sending confirmations and notifications), legal and compliance purposes, and improving our website and platform security. We do NOT use your data for unsolicited marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is described here, and we do NOT sell, rent, or commercially exploit your data.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or trade your data. It is shared only with the official Udyam Registration Portal and relevant government systems as necessary to process your application, with trusted technology and operational partners (such as payment gateways and hosting providers) bound by confidentiality obligations, when required by law or a competent authority, and in the event of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, subject to the same privacy protections. In all cases, only the minimum necessary data is shared.

7. Data Retention

Application and service data is retained for a minimum of 3 years from service delivery for business and legal compliance. Aadhaar and other SPDI is deleted or anonymized as soon as the service is delivered and retention is no longer legally required. Payment transaction records are retained for 7 years as required under Indian financial and tax regulations, website usage data for up to 12 months, and communication records for 2 years from the last interaction. Data is securely deleted or anonymized upon expiry of the applicable retention period.

We implement secure HTTPS encryption, restricted access controls, secure cloud storage with encryption at rest, regular security audits, confidentiality obligations binding on employees and partners, and PCI-DSS compliant payment processing.
